Axle weights and permits on over length I beams

    Almost forgot, then you also have to take into account, total length of vehicles..I know one state I had, it was total of 75 ft, period. ::shrug::

    Ohio oversize permits - regulations and information
    The bulk head may be a problem. you can only be 12 ft over on the back in most states. There is a way to shift the weight forward even with the bulk head . build a 6 in dunage riser at the back of the trailer and strap it down . the beams will now be up at the back and the wight will be transferd forward. a six x six 8 ft dunage is best .
    red flag in day , red light at night on back of load .

    Hauling 60’ pipe on 48’s we had to get at least 5’ over the front or we were into an expensive permit with lots of restrictions on it for rear projection.
