Ok, you all want to haul more weight, but here's the million dollar question..
Will you be getting paid more for the extra wear and tear on your setup, or will you keep hauling it for cheap when the market gets flooded with all those spiffy new trls.????

In our yard in Indiana sits a brand new 10 axle flatbed B train. Nobody else uses it so I asked to take it to learn on it. It has sat for a few months. I live in Michigan and travel into Canada for loads regularly. I like to learn new things and I'm already endorsed but nobody seems to have the info on the correct load limits for it whether in Michigan or Canada within the company for B trains. I like the idea of it especially being on a percentage pay if I can grab a little extra cargo.
If someone can help me out with the limits I'd appreciate it.
Thank you!Mike2633 Thanks this. -
I'm slightly confused; this really seems to be a remedy for the driver shortage we have in the states.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
We ran b-trains from Lethbridge all the way to Idaho Falls. But we're limited to 105,500. 28 metric tonne payload.
Another company on same gig, used those four axle trailers you see in Montana , tri-axle with fourth axle liftable singles. They hauled 30 metric tonne payload.
With that light of a load and all that rolling resistance and aero dynamic drag I had. I didn't have to worry about any of the grades dropping down into Helena or Butte.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
In Canada we can run 135k to 140k lbs on a super B from coast to coast.
I pulled A and B trains for years and given the choice I wouldn't look at a set of A trains if a B train was offered.
You will probably never see these on US highways, or most Canadian highways for that matter, but this is what's been going on in SK for years.
Triple 53' B trains grossing 220k lbs and super B tankers pulling a light 53' van behind them.
Mike2633, FlaSwampRat and speedyk Thank this.
