    Even with something like that, you can only maintain the needed 3 points of contact while exiting the cab. So how does it help. But I can see it causing a major problem in an accident situation if a driver needed to be pulled from the cab.

    Next will be a pullout ramp. Similar to the uhaul trucks, under the driver's door, with a hand rail. Haha
    What do they recommend for coe. Flip gate with a rope ladder, haha.

    I wouldn't want any contraption making less room by my pedals.
    I can see that handle making it harder to get in and out. Restricting your leg movement.

    They could mount the hand hold on the door.

    I see it as one more tripping hazard to deal with. You forget it's there, open the door, get your legs trapped and dive nose first onto the pee drenched parking lot.

    How about an inflatable ramp that deploys automatically when the drivers door is opened, similar to the ones used to evacuate jets in an emergency? :)
