Bolt action: bumpy air travel to orientation due to Houston airport shutdown over storms but finally arrived Toledo exhausted and worn out at 12:00. Met a few big terminal guys and took drug test. Already had new dot med in hand and has completed 90% of paperwork previously online. So brief meet n greet and ubered to very nice motel.
Class and drive test today. Benefits and pay talk tomorrow morning and get Volvo tractor in afternoon.

 

Two interesting things today. Class started with 3 counting myself. The other 2 were a very nice young man from Georgia and a fat scruffy attitudinal mutt from whocareswhere. Fat and scruffy started right out belligerent and complaining. They called him into another room and he was never heard from again. Good choice imho.
The other thing is the straight truck they will be assigning nice Georgia. Holy cow! Its an rv! Hardwood floors, fancy cabinets, a booth style dining table, and a sink!-! I was speechless..almost... I AM female after all.
