Well I am definitely slated to make the minimum they advertise..about 1060 gross a week..and that's only calculating 4 hazmat loads a week. I'm struggling to get household expenses in line. And of course its Christmas time. Bah humbug.

Speaking of hazmat. I let that go with my original Cdl..so I took the test this week. I must have been studying the wrong questions! I passed but one more wrong and the ejection seat at the DMV would have triggered. Very tense.

Next week fingerprint appointment and then I should have hazmat again soon.

Guess I will give up my prepass. Can't use it for hazmat anyway.

You know..I could make more per
I know I could make more per mile. Would I get more miles? Live 6 weeks at a time in truck? I don't know. I need some recovery time after last year. Not getting any younger as they say.
Going to give this a go. If it doesn't pan out I may take my hazmat and tanker experience and do that.
The last time I did that I delivered fuel to the rigs locally. they had me working 6 days a week 18 hour days. Yes I made a bucket of money but couldn't keep up the pace.

You can’t use prepass on a hazmat load in Arkansas, Arizona, and Ohio. :)

From what I know of this particular company its run like a OO business. Most are OO and you call the shots even as company driver. Friend with them now is company driver and he is home when he asks. So no 6 weeks out or even 2 weeks if you don't want. All his loads are drop and hook too. I will have to find out cents per but I know he started over 50 cents per mile. There's bonuses too which make it higher. It's all dry van too.
