I should have invoked 16 hour exception before 14 hour clicked is what I'm told.
JB does not allow pc while hauling a trailer. I think the way federal law works is you may not override to grant greater freedom but you may curtail it by choice. Meaning as an employee if I don't like company rules I have the choice to work somewhere else.

Speaking of companies and choices: I don't think Jb is the greatest thing since Betty White ( she predates sliced bread..fun fact) but it is better than many. There's still plenty to gripe about but I think the things I don't like are typical of most mega.
I like the regional rail and it's way more personal than otr because our terminal is specific to our unit.

The way one of our resident DOT's explained it; if you can do it in a taxi cab, it's PC, if not, it's not.

I don't use it. Except under that example.

Like when I leave the house or go home.
I drop the trailer where I keep my truck, then PC to the house bobtail to drop off the cats, laundry,etc..
Same as when I leave. Walk to truck, PC to house to load supplies, cats, then go get trailer.

    bigguns and UturnGirl Thank this.

I thought the 16 hr is just to get back to where you park. Like every day. As local runs parking at same premises or terminal. Mayby they changed it?
