You know I tease in jest Uturngirl.
On the bright side the cooler will drown out all the outside noise!
Grown adults running around chasing invisible monsters...must be some good drugs their on.
Clearly those people should be drug tested.
Sirscrapntruckalot - Dear people of the world, your all crazy.UturnGirl Thanks this. -

Here is a little bit of the low down on changes at jbhunt I've observed.
First of all they are finding ways to save money that they hope won't pizz off drivers..like:
They no longer reimburse cost of hazmat fingerprinting. They used to.
To get paid for sweeping a trailer it has to be a staggering mess. And they want pictures.
If you want to use zip ties buy your own.
Only 2 uniform shirts for free..used to be 3. And their gimmee caps are so cheap you can't stand the feel of cardboard on your head.
For ic drivers you better learn to use the load board because they cut way back on planners and they only work bankers' hours.
On the other hand, their equipment is very nice. Cupboards have doors not nets and they come with espar. No fridge but mine has a converter installed.
You can take your truck home.
Another change is they are going to random drug test by hair sample from now on. Shoot..they left me looking like Bill the cat they took so many chunks at orientation. I hope they don't do that very often!
Not new but worrisome: I've got a yummy espar to keep me warm but the truck won't idle for long. It shuts itself off and I don't see an intermittent self start feature. It's gonna get hot this summer.bigguns, Sirscrapntruckalot, Scooter Jones and 1 other person Thank this. -
Hey could u advise me out. I recently signed up with JBH. They send me for physical, urine and hair test which I passed all them only to recieved an email stating that my start date has beed postponed after they reviewed my application. Im once again hopeless dont know what that means. But guessing it has do with my MVR or a single misdeameanor conviction on my background record which I was affront with them. The MVR was from a citation i had for improper lane change that lead an accident 5 months ago. Do u think i have better shot of being hired by JBH thanks in advance?

UTURN......in the summer, you wont have to worry about truck shutting itself off- if its 65 degrees or ABOVE......same with if it gets foo cold ...that cold magic number is ( varies from truck to truck) 32-28 degrees or BELOW......I can horn on about the chinsey behavior regarding some of the pay, but they also bumped up a few of the pay categories .....sooo..... i guess in some areas thsyve improved.....but it seems like they always make an attempt to off-set that bump elsewhere......UturnGirl Thanks this.

The ESPAR shouldnt work unless the ignition is turned to "off" position...

I can't answer that question. They said "postponed" which implies they are still considering you so you should contact your recruiter for answers.
Personally, I would also continue exploring other companies that may be more flexible. -
Yes im looking into other companies but i already did pre employment testS with them thanks so far to the recruiter not verification specialist at HR who made the last email. So far i find it useless to proceed n finsh up the online course the recruiter wanted me to do untill i hear a better word than postponement

Or you could, you know...finish it up anyways, instead of playing catch up if they do call, an be all ready to go. An if they don't take you...at lest you did your end. Anyhow...good luck.
I'd expect nothing less, an would be kinda sad if you didn't.
Stay safe all.
