That doesn't sound scary. Although if you don't get the bolts tight I imagine it could become an ejection seat...oh goodie. another feature!

So for people like me and UTG, you're talking about roughly $150 in shop labor. ...LOL

If you just want to swap the bottom cushion. Depending on manufacturer it will be four bolts and about ten minutes

It's a snap. The freightliner dealer in Salem Oregon has these niiiiiccccccccceeeeeeee leather seats for $700 out the door.
Excellent for anyone not traveling with a cat.

Right! Had a cat turn my beautiful leather office chair into dotted swiss in under a month.

That would be great but the part that controls bottom seat tilt is real problem. It leans forward and I have to fight sliding forward. Can't get tilt to work. Maybe if I take seat cushion off I can adjust it. Thanks for idea.

IMG_0130.JPG This is what the bottom of my seat looks like. Pick up and pull out the front then tilt it forward. Two bolts on each side remove top bolt, back bottom bolt out to last thread. Then just swap sides.

No new seat info except I think my rear end is conforming to the waffle holes in the gell seat so I'm not sliding as much. Don't have time to take something apart I might not be able to put back together right away so I think I'll wait till next home time where I can call on a friend if I get into trouble with it.
