Don't know if it helps but have antifreeze checked and carry a bag of rock salt (ice melt) just in case you get stuck in dock or parking spot. This may have been stated before if do I apologise for repeating.
Would also be good to have belts checked.

I wasn't implying def freezing..I was concerned because I read so many posts about idling causes emissions to foul and expensive cleaning etc. Since I'm going to be compelled to idle I guess I just take my chances.

I know in my 2019 Cascadia, idling for two nights causes a need for a regen. That shocked me coming from my Kenworth. My Cascadia has an APU and a bunk heater, but it still doesn't make sense. I idled in my KW all of the time and never needed a regen.

I thought that's why some drivers will idle at 1600+ rpms then have the fan cycle every minute for 30 seconds that is louder then the engine??

I hate the 1600rpm yahoos, ... had a Crete Park next to me the other night doing it, I went and found a new spot.. wanted to junk punch him.. If I’m not mistaken Trucks after 2012 will Regen on their own when needed idling.. no need for that nonsense
