Either way they know what you make and what they make and the odds are not in the best of your interest. Why not work for a smaller company and save up your dough for an older truck thats cheaper? Stay away from the debt, large company outfits and hustle to get ahead. If you do want to work for a big company then definitely work LTL. Great insurance, good company atmosphere, low stress and relatively fun work.

I've always made the argument in the real world it takes a measure of luck not to hit anything so as to damage the tires where they become unsafe, such as my last two steers, one had a deep puncture, the other a deep slice.
