I agree. Competition is fierce. JB promised a 10% increase but I can't honestly say I've seen it.

I thought that was for company drivers? I read an article about it, I didn't know that included IC's.

I also thought your revenue was $175K a month???

We haven't seen your number 1 fan in awhile. I don't want to same his name or he might appear.

    BEETLEJUICE!!!

    Dear Abby / @UturnGirl,
I’ve come to loathe reefers. They always park next to me. The ones that rattle and cycle on one side, and the one that roars all night on the other. If there’s no place to move what should I do? Btw if I parked in a dirt field surrounded by land mines 20 miles from a truck route I would wake up at 3am to two trucks with reefers backing in and parking next to me. Help utg, your my only hope.

Actually I found a white noise app that I turn on my phone and it smooths out the sounds enough so I can sleep, or I’m going deaf. LOL.

    Boycott ice cream.
Seriously Otter if I had an answer I would use it myself. I try not to let myself think these reefer drivers get a perverse pleasure out of parking next to quiet non-idling trucks.
One time I was looking forward to a cool quiet night with the Windows open and Behold! Two cattle trucks pulled in on either side of me. I jumped out in my bad trucker teddy bear pajamas and begged them not to park there and they scuffed their boots and one said "as shucks, Darlin' we just had these here trailers washed out. They'll be ok."
I said, in a small whisper, "ok..never mind" and to quote Major Paine, thought " now why do I feel like a #######?"

I would only make 175k a month if I owned a 2002 Columbia with my own authority and no insurance.

Thanks UTG. I figured the answer was tough ####.

It would be nice if a TS has a no reefer section. It would be hard to police etc etc etc. but it would be nice to have a modicum of quiet.

I still park at almost exclusively at a TS. I guess it’s my being new and having a feeling of comfort and security with understanding what’s around me.

The solution to your reefer problem is real simple. I figured it out years ago.
