Yes. She adjusted my clutch. The first couple times i supervised and showed her how. But today id be confident to let her do it all on her own.

It really is very simple, 4 short bolts (1/2 onch socket) to drop the inspection plate, and a 9/16ths socket on a ratchet to adjust it.

It does help to have someone there to bump the engine over a time or two till the adjustment nut is spun to the bottom so you can access it. And to push the clutch in while you adjust it, but you can use a 2x4 wedged to the steering wheel for that.

If after watching a few videos you still don't feel comfortable, take a load down this way and if I'm at home i will show you how. And considering how little i have trucked the last several years chances are i'll be home.

If you read her post just a few days ago she thought she was out of bussiness over not having enough cash reserves to fix the transmission. Turned out it only needed a clutch adjustment, which is great news. The bad news is a year in there is no cash reserves and still operating and living paycheck to paycheck. That's definately not a formula for long term success.

Exactly. It has been a rough year with all my cash reserves (measly as they were) getting drained by 1st lemon truck from Bcl. I've been playing catch up ever since. I plan to post my year end final earnings after I fill out tax forms and we shall see where we go from there.

Sometime during the night a prime reefer pulled next to me. Didn't need the alarm clock this morning. Well I am thankful he got in without hitting me.

I parked next to a reefer by mistake last night. I asked myself why? Why? Do I do this to myself

I’m parked next to a reefer. It cycled off while I was cleaning my truck at the Ontario TA. Somewhere on this site today I saw J. Giles video “centerfold” and was humming it and singing it... the reefer driver loudly closed his little bunk window. Now that was funny. Of course I kept singing. Started singing the wrong lyrics and messing up the melody. Eat hot death reefer driver.

Masochistic self-loathing would be my best guess...
