Wow. Well I bought my truck to J.B. Hunt. I don’t have a weekly payment.

Big difference in a LEASE and buying a truck from Joe Blow. Lease Payment from JB Hunt is more than likely $650 per week.

Ok that's 26K. 64 to go. I'll go as high as another 10 for insurance. 54 to go.

$10,000 leased to someone? thats kinda high. There has to be some major break downs here in the mix for that kinda deductions, either that or she must have a FULL SIZE refrigerator in there.

That's just a "JUST WOW " figure for deductions is all.

Insurance goes by the value of the truck as well.

The truck I just added was twice as much to purchase as my truck. Ironically, the liability insurance is twice as much.

All said and done it's probably almost $6K a year, for the whole shabang.

I could see a brand new truck creeping up on $10K year.

This day in time I wouldn't be surprised though with JB Hunt. Everybody wants to be an O/O right out of school.

It really is a "just wow" it includes insurance Ifta 2290 tolls fuel truck payment and repairs. Not all repairs mind you...what was covered in escrow. Not a good deal at all.

Still, if the miles and rates had stayed up it would have been okay. But then the brand new truck broke down.
    Heck 'm

Don't feel alone, there's literally thousands of other operators who are in similar circumstances, they just don't have the guts to admit it in front of the whole world like you did.

You know..back in 2005 - 2008 dart had a really good lease purchase deal going on. It was doable and they provided all kinds of support and maintenance and stuff. I was close to owning a new truck until my appendix ruptured and I had no health insurance. The Bcl lease represented itself to be that but it was a lie. lie. lie. The TEL lease was what it was but I was too deep under water by the time I ended up in that.

My goal was to tell it like it is. And I did..even if it was painful.
