    My company really came through for me for the holiday. Planned for over $3000 for 3day's run. Gross pay of course but sweet.

    Hoped to have some time to do paperwork and the ever present laundry but JB has kept those miles coming. Its the last settlement of 2018 coming up and I've got to gather all the records and receipts to send to ATBS for tax return.
    I used them before when I was an l/p and they saved me a ton of money and misery.

    Speaking of sticker shock. We were weren't we when I whispered taxes?. I haven't paid for an oil change for 5 years. Got my first one last night. Nearly $400. Kill me now! I want a raise! I was robbed!
    Apparently loves and Speedco are now evil twins. Also worst experience ever. It was loves in South Carolina. Now they were very nice people but they had 3 tire guys and one overworked mechanic. It took 8 hours for my 1 hour pm and then they left the airline disconnected.
    Plus I had to go buy my own fluid for hydraulic clutch. And I overfilled because I'm too short to see it until it's spilling in my lap. I wicked some back out with a shop paper towel. I hope there are no consequences.
    Finally. Loves wouldn't put the points on my card. Something about not enough accumulated points prior. I'm going to waste an hour or two on customer service tonight to try to get them. But from now on I am as disgusted with loves as I am with TA.

    One thing about loves. When you call hq, after you spend forever on hold and actually reach a person. They are quick to resolve your problem in your favor. Favorite thing to do is apologize then offer x amount of free points. They give out points like it' candy on Halloween

    They had 3 tire guys, WOW. Most times we are lucky to get one tire guy.
    I don't think any of the Big 4 truckstops are great in all. Pilot is owned by our state senator and we have issues here with them. On the don't stop if can avoid list. But he is selling his share under pressure from last we heard to cover charges brought up against him. Long story state politics.

    Loves we know has been expanding out west alot. KS and NM. Which where they are going it's is needed as none were there. There's still some mom pop places but there getting more scares as Pilot buys them out. Nuts when Pilot is all you can find on both sides of the road off an exit but that's what has happened on many. Since they bought Hess we have seen it much more. Shame.
