    Perception is 9/10ths of reality.

But, then again, honey is so sticky sweet, I wouldn't even want to be called that. How insulting and grotesque. Next thing, I'm going to be syrupy or sickly sweet. Then comes the diabetes. No thanks.

Call me a vegetable, like onion or sweet pea. I'll take it. :)

And if luck is any indication of validity, well......too bad luck only works in natural circumstances.

I compare the “honey/sweetie “ thing to being called “tootsie “ not as awesome as it seems.

Time to divert this thread from the pet names debate. You can call me flower if you want to.

Answered an OOIDA survey regarding elds this morning. 2 things popped up at me. 1 I find myself trying to enter info while rolling a lot. There's a safety feature! 2 there's no wiggle room when you find yourself in the middle of nowhere and the last make-a-Spot in the parking lot has been filled. My mother always warned me I'd be sleeping under bridges if I didn't change my ways. The big thing i realized is it's not so much the ELD thats killing me as the stupid hours of service. Managing others sleep cycles is not a one size fits all option. I get that the ELD helps keep dispatchers from forcing a driver to not rest but I think thats only valuable for first year drivers. After you have experience you can open your mouth and say No...or if need be, Hell No and walk away.

Not trying to be Mr smarty here, but I typically know where I'm going to stop when I leave in the morning. ....also a couple of contingency stops as well. Do you have Trucker Path on your phone?
If not, you might want to look into it.
    Trying to be helpful. ....

What if you get loaded and leaving at noon?
Your end of day would be after the buzzards circle the lots for the last few spots and start creative parking. You end up parking where you can, not always the first choice. If there is an app for finding elusive parking then sign me up!
I get what you are saying, though. If you have your druthers you can plan ahead and know where to shut it down.
It sounds like she got a later start and wasn’t given that luxury we all crave.

You don't understand planning. If I'm getting loaded and leaving at noon, I'm looking for a spot 300 miles from where I picked up. I

I agree! If you have time to do so, that’s how I’d do it. There are those times when you have a clock running against you. No reason to insult people for a point of view.

    Sorry, hit the wrong button.

Anyway, I don't park after dark. And the 1 or 2 times a year that I have to, I know where I'm going to park and its gonna be a really big lot or an out of the way place.
We control a lot more than you might think.
