Next time if you need to hang around Albany hang a left at the light by pilot coming from Miller.

Mile or so on the left are warehouses. Pull about halfway down and go to sleep. On the off chance you get asked you are delivering pallets. Parking at Walmart is touch and go. Not sure about parking at Home Depot or Lowes going north on the bypass. I know you can park there during the day and eat at the Golden Corral.

Going north on 300 I've seen trucks parked at the sausage companies, huge parking lots. When you get to the over pass for I75 there is a DQ with truck parking.

This week has been a total train wreck for me. Allow me to back up to the night of the $600 boot event.
I never intended to spend the night in Albany. I was to pick up a loaded trailer and run it up to Columbia SC. Whoosh..in and out. The trailer number was known by JB and given to me on the obc. So I pick it up and head down the road but I get a msg telling me I can't have that trailer because its a dedicated. They instruct me to go back to the shipper and tell them to off load it to a different trailer. Shipper says no and its a Sunday night so there's no one there who could authorize that. So JB says wait until morning and take it back in then. That's why I was compelled to locate an unplanned parking spot. After I got run off. Jb says oh never mind use the trailer. Its ok. (Nuclear explosion here).
I only have an hour and a half so I run a little bit and go into a nice safe rest area for 10.
In morning I get a couple of fault lights and a check engine indicating egr/def issue. Ratz! Only freightliner will touch that. We all know how quick freightliner is. So here I am 3rd night in bedbug motel at $109 a night and they promise truck will be ready tomorrow..sometime. And the problem is the def pins and harness which miraculously are not covered under fabulous 3 year warranty.
The week ain't over yet either folks.

Repairs cost $2200 but I had it in account. Remember how the lease company only issues comcheck during bankers hours? Well it gets gooder. So after 3 days down..and $327 in motel bills... Bcl lease guy says "oh we have a new policy. No comcheck we want to do bank transfer to shop instead" What!###%#!?? It took 6 more hours for transfer to hit while I'm shuffling from foot to foot. Messing with my maintenance money is unacceptable. But what can I do?
This thread is about leasing on jbhunt through bcl. JB has been zero support negotiating with bcl. So the conclusion I came to is I could have bought my truck from anyone and gotten same jbhunt deal.
All I can do is hope bcl gets their stupid act together.

Continuing with thought. So far jbhunt has been zero support with repairs as well. Definitely in the wind on that. When I leased to dart through evil highway sales highway sales was all over it on repairs. Even paying bill in advance if I hadn't built up enough yet. Reason for that was truck was theirs. They wanted it taken care of. Of course made less money with dart and bcl lease deal is still a better one...if truck lasts to end..no walk away here.
I've always said dart was a great opportunity to get feet wet in owner op. Now I'm learning new lessons and its like a second schooling.

Why does the leasing company have anything to do with your maintenance account?
What in the heck were you thinking when you signed that deal?!

Actually its common practice for a company to hold a small maintenance escrow thru the lease. Its to protect their investment. The amount set aside is just enough for regular oil changes and saving for tires. Its capped at 6500 and if there is any left at end it is returned. Naturally I have a bank account of my own I keep into which I am independently setting aside taxes and maintenance $$.
The issue for me is the stupidity of the way they are making my escrow available. I think they will figure it out.
In defence of bcl I just got notice they researched latest repair and found a portion was indeed under warrantee and refunded nearly $500 of that $2200.
