Goodyear steers are garbage and no matter how f'd up they are they won't stand by them.
I had mine balanced at a Goodyear shop , one of them wouldn't balance so they sent it to Goodyear and put a new tire on.
Month later said nothing wrong with it got a bill for the new tire.

I have that set on still.
One has 16oz on it and the other 12oz.
Fortunately I have a shop that will put whatever weight necessary lol.
This wasn't my first go around with Goodyear steers unfortunately they were on this truck when i got it.
I've had the same problem before with goodluck steers.

    jsnell and UturnGirl Thank this.

Yeah. I won't do Goodyear again. I'm having a mini meltdown right now because freightliner promised to have estimate and start work Friday but when I called they said not until Monday. So no income on top of repairs. It irks me that the dealerships can be so callous but of course there are a bazillion freightliner trucks out there locked into warrantee. If I could I would never go to another fl shop ever.

Spend the money on Bridgestone. You will notice a significant difference.

I got yoko this time around, seems to be a good tire and way cheaper than the Bridestone I was getting

I agree completely. I couldn't be happier with mine and as soon as I need a set of drives, it will be Yoko's

I run Yoko drives and Bridgestone steers on both trucks. Little spendy, but I am really happy with the results.

Consider the Bridgestone m710s next time. I tried them once and fell in love with them.

If money is an issue id get cheap loves brand recaps. There recapping plant was designed by Michelin. Pretty sure there drives are right at 200 bucks a piece when buying 4.
