I run yoko steers and general drives.. want to say the 101zl steers were $850 $900 otd and the generals were $2700 otd for all 8.. got 120k on the generals and about 80k on the yoko and seems I made the right call on going a little cheaper. I’ve ran the expensive bridgestones and on the other end I’ve run caps (never again) but I’ve seen to have found a happy median. the yoko drives were only $200 more for a set otd and I believe those are a great tire and would be a happy median also.

Drives are still new and good. Its the steers that were defective. Lucky I got it off the road when I did.
I will buy get-by steers this time and switch to great ones as soon as I can before it becomes an issue but holy cow! Why did this all have to hit me at tax time?

If your carrier can't get you a good deal there are many co op style groups out there to get you big savings on tires. My Bridgestone 283a steers were about 375 after FET. Nearly 400 dollars cheaper than the best deal the dealer could get me.

Either my last post on this forum disappeared or I did a random drive by post on someone else's forum.

What I attempted to post was an update on my repair situation. I am still sitting at home awaiting resolution. When I know the final answer I will fill you in completely but right right now I don't have all the facts.
My purpose in this thread is to honestly share my experiences (besides the benefit of being part of a great supportive community) so I don't want to post any inaccurate info. I should have an answer soon...
