You can manually down shift if you need to. With that being said it does have its settings and it shifts at certain rpms. You can switch to power mode and it has different settings for hills and all that but it switches back to econo mode after a bit of driving.

Now I forgot to tell you that if you do not turn on the jake brake it will go into eco coast if you are going down hill but you can turn on jake and it doesn't do it.

The room is the same as the other Cascadia's. The one I have is not the new body style so if that is the style you are looking at I have no experience with that model.

If it makes you feel any better your not the only one that's had to reach deep in their pockets after buying one of those old Schneider trucks. I don't know whatever happened to that guy. I remember him saying he was into it 12k very quickly.

 

If you have no profit you have no tax liability. It didn't cost 10k a month to buy food and support the household.

These are excuses. As long as you look for excuses you will be stuck in the same revolving circle of barely getting by.
