Well, breakdowns and repairs happen, no matter what....I have dropped over 2K in the last 3 weeks on repairs.....+$3,840 on 10 new tires yesterday and $760 (coulda, shoulda been $500 if not for my carriers discount tire program rules!!!) on alignment and having 10 tires balanced....soo.....

Oh, and I haven't been able to work a full week in a month because of the truck issues....

AAAND... next week is my scheduled vacation with my daughter (not missing it, no matter what)....sooo.....bank account's taken a hit...that's trucking folks!!!!!!

This is EXACTLY how it works. Next, you'll go a year with nothing.
Which is why you need some foldin money in your back pocket.
My 2 or 3 weeks down didn't hurt a bit. The only thing that suffered was my liver.

RERM, taodnt, UturnGirl and 1 other person Thank this.

I wish I could have been damaging my liver right along with you.
It's true without back up money things can get real shaky. If JB hadn't had my back I would have gone down in flames. I'm praying this new truck will treat me right long enough to build up my war chest.

That is so unnecessary. Just post it and either pick or don't.
Kinda sounds like JB is wanting to broker the loads to drivers......."Soooo, how does $1.45 sound?......."
At least with Schneider, there's no mystery or negotiations. It is what it is, brokered as many times as necessary.

    spyder7723 and UturnGirl Thank this.

Well, sissy, the reason they have your back is because you're valuable to them. And that means a lot.
Good luck and happy trails .

Probably paranoid about people calling friends to shop the rate, or use them as a barometer.

    UturnGirl Thanks this.

Maybe if we don't bite they will start posting rates on their big board. Right now they send me "recommended loads" from which to choose and they do show rates.

Dave.....at this point, everybody knows everything about everybody.
I know why you're scared to walk into dark closets. See what I mean?
