I have been violation free for years been 20 years since I got a ticket I'll have to wait until Monday to find out if I get voted off the island not likely cbc for a warning plus I'm wondering if I can turn those seven violations into just one because it was all the same

    Those are very minor violations.

They aren't going to fire you for that lead foot.

You, and apparently others, have to manually key that stuff in?? That screen on my IVG shows the same info (it isn't the identical info because....we don't have the same trailer number or bill number :mtongue:) and either a desk jockey enters it for us or the IVG gets the information from the loaded screen. My guess is it comes from our loaded screen. It's been that way for us since the beginning of our Qualcomm days (5 or 6 years) and through all the variations.

Because you're dispatched probably. As we are a bunch of free floating units doing our own thing.

Landstar is exceedingly tough on logs. When you empty, even if your only going 10 miles to pick up, your load history better reflect that empty travel, or you will receive a violation.

    That's my most recent history.

This is how deadhead is logged on the load detail of the log.

    1529276402391913933434.jpg

I click on the empty line in that top picture, hit details, this was my deadhead.

You can edit any of them until you approve. Once you hit approve, it better be right.

I think the in house strictness and monitoring is good, because if you're not doing something correctly, you know before like what happened to U Turn Girl.

We also have a home page on the site and load board. It has a tab for log violations that you are supposed to keep up on. Self policing. If there is stuff there, you call logs, and get it straightened out.

Warning tickets tilt me pretty bad. Dot cops love them for small speeding infractions. They get to be judge and jury as far as CSA points are concerned. Had a cop write me a warning for 3 mph over in TN a few weeks back after spending 10 min rifiling through my Qualcomm. Luckily anything less than 5 doesn't assess points, but still, either write a ticket or move along. Dont hand me some bs I can't even fight.

You can fight warnings on your sca. In fact its easier than fighting a ticket since it can all be done by mail and you don't have to hire any attorney or appear in court.

I have read that you can, but I heard it's like pulling teeth and questionable at best if it will work.

It's not that difficult, assuming it wasn't a valid i infraction. You won't get things over ruled on a technicality like a lenient judge might, but if its a legitimate bogus infraction you will get it over turned.

I feel lucky it was a warning. I told him I was only going 55 the 62 was the speed of the verticle drop into that last pothole.
