Back on the road. Lease purchase with JB Hunt

Update. I guess I'm good still with JB. I was pretty sure I would be but my fleet manager told me I was ok. Watching that lead foot from now on that's for sure.

 

Yes it has. I've had a weird couple of weeks. I was offered a deal shuttling walmart dc to stores with a flat per day gross plus .29 a mile. The carrot on the stick was do it 3 weeks in Arkansas then I could do it out of the sanger dc where I live all the way thru Christmas. The pay equalled my minimum daily goal and the thought of being on my own turf instead of stranded in buffalo for yet another thanksgiving appealed to me in my weakened state of not having seen the house since February. I lasted 4 days. It was awful. I backed out of the deal grabbed a high dollar load to PA then got a quick load to N.Y. I've been sitting in a dead casino parking lot for an unwanted 34hr reset.

Now I'm having tremors over whether my fleet manager has his nose out of joint because I changed my mind. He says no but here I sit. In a mega if your fleet manager doesn't take care of you life can get really crappy. Waiting to see what happens next.

 

One or two bad days and I go berserk. Breathe...breathe.
