Does anyone know who most companies use to run background check? I was going to run one on myself to see if a charge 15 years ago still shows. Just was not sure who to use there are so many scams online.

More than likely they will find it, better to fess up and try to work it out than get sent home before you even get a shot. If you do make it past, DO NOT ENTER CANADA! they will find it for sure, and if they check it your screwed, impounded truck and group shower time for you!You can get a ministers pardon from them though, just do it the right way.

It was deferred adjudication. I purchased a piece of equipment from a guy (great deal new it was to good to be true) kepp it for a couple of years and then sold it to a guy, then 6 months later found out it was stolen of course I didn't have a receipt so it fall back on me.

Have you been hired by a company yet? If its 15 years ago you should be okay if you tell them about it!I've seen guys go to an orientation with a company be let go because they thought they could get by without saying anything. Just be honest and it should work out okay, Less stress too!
