Backing out of a job offer after a pre-employment drug test form was emailed to you?

So any random company you apply with can send out a pre-employment drug test and you are obligated to test even if you have no intention of working for them. You a slave to da man!!

 

you are under no obligation if you back out.

send them an email or call them, it was only the form, nothing else.

 

@dibstr cited the regulation. I would notify them by email for the paper trail and not do the test. Side note: If you take the test and then back out they might send you a bill for the test.

 

That’s all I would do if it’s worrisome. Send an email. No sense in wasting any more of your time with them.
