I can remember several old truckstops that had gravel lots with no lines in them, I always thought it funny how many could not park, or really would not I think, park even remotely in line with a whole rig already parked.
Backing up without painted lines or markers?

Wait, you mean you are supposed to get close and parallel to other trucks?
-
Nah, but it sure made a lot more trucks fit in the same space when they paved them and painted lines, well it is suppose to anyway. lol
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Yep. Not a spread but with doors that 2 inches gets eaten up.
Lepton1, ZVar and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
Nope wide open docks have haunted me also. It was downI finally improved when I started getting out and making my own markers. Work gloves, a hat, etc. Drop a glove right at about where you want your tandems when you swing the trailer, then another glove closer to the dock to help you get the trailer straight with the dock.
It helps a lot. It might look kind of corny, but you'll get it parked faster and have more nap time while others too cool for markers wiggle around.Intothesunset, FlaSwampRat and Lepton1 Thank this.
