Ok so I have a road test with conway this week and I have to back pups. Backed them once and I know with single axle trailers and pups they turn like a bat out of hell.
Usually I can back with a 53ft easy as it turns slower with tandem drives.
I mean I know to G.O.A.L if you're not sure and to setup properly to begin with.
But any tips to backing with pups. Little steering wheel movements I'm thinking so its not all too jacked up before you get too far?
Thanks guys

It's not the single axle that's the problem. It's just they're half the size of what you're use to. Just remember to back the trailer tires, not the truck. Take it easy so you allow your self time to correct any action
you'll do fine. -
just back it slow i used to run a 37 foot trailer with a single axle and they just run away if you have driven a 53 and forget they are different, just do everything slower dont crank the wheel as much youll be alright.

just like everyone else said....back slowly and remember that a pup reacts to what you do with the steering wheel alot faster

Yeah, slow and easy.....There's no stop watch involved when backing or any skills test for that matter.

I agree with everyone else, but til you get used to it you're gonna chase that pup a lot.
