I've had real good experience with Eric at the Manning,SC T/A off I-95 at exit 119. He goes by "Grasshopper". I've had echo boards and peak/tune jobs done on several radios there. My main radio is a 29 Classic that's been trucking with me for coming up on 10 years plus. I've had it long enough that the LEDs read jibberish when set on "19", I find it by going to "20" or "21", and back/forward one click. That's how long I've had it. Eric has kept it going all this time and although I BARELY have my echo board turned on (not like the cool super truckers that have everything turned on 10 and it sounds like 12 people talking at once and TOTALLY intelligible, don't tell them that though they have a lotta "special" names for ya !) and I get compliments on how my radio sounds all the time. Just one person's opinion, I'm sure there are others.

Anybody know of a good cb shop around Chattanooga TN? Need to get an old Eagle linear rebuilt and want to/need to spend less than buying a new one! Thanks.
