umm ya Try $17/hr + a $2/hr bonus if you can scan 20+ peices an hour...so $17 or $19/hr and $0.50 raise every 6 months, top pay is $21.50/hr.....so nice try

He is telling the truth, I worked for them for 18 months. Team madee then 20 cents a mile. But ahter awhile lead driver got paid I believer 11 cents or 12 cents a mile. I got lucky cause I mostly got to run solo, so I got 20 cents a mile. No lie, no joke. A crap company. Only one person in dispatch treated you nice, And that person is Tonya. Randolph ( owners brother ) one minute will act nice to you the next act like a azzhole. Convicted coke head he is. Jim ( owner ) know to search porn sites looking for love, or looking for a mail order bride. Also big time tax cheat! Etc. Etc. Etc. About Carolina Cargo or aka. Carolina Convicts!

 

they are based out of rock hill, s.c. They primary haul dry stuff to west coast, and then haul produce back to east coast.

My name is Wyatt, yes I hauled your freight, and yes I was paid cheap, I never complained, and I was a faithful driver and a trusted one. I showed respect and never gave a problem, nor was I escorted around in the office out of fear that I would do harm to any of you for doing of wrong to me or another driver. It never was about the money for me, it was just for the love of being a trucker and praying that the company would change it's way's.

 

Whenever someone posts on this sight runs down a company with wild claims of drug use by the office staff, porn searching, tax cheating etc it makes it very hard to take any other claim by that person seriously. A company that hires convicts and gives them a chance at a job to straighten up their lives and get a fresh start should be commended for this no matter what they pay. Not many companies out there will hire ex-cons. So no matter what they pay or their motives people should tip their hats to them for at least hiring these people.

A second chance carrier is great, but if its pay is poop? The pay is going to be lower, but the man needs to eat! Taking advantage of any man is wrong! Again I know full well the pay will be less, but be real! 25% of my rate? Maybe half, given the second chance? He may need a second chance but he is still a man!
