I love the Waffle House .

i was once working with a drilling crew , drilling wells for core samples at a job site where the work had to be done from 11 pm to 6 am , I was analyzing and logging the soil core samples .

And the only restaurant open anywhere nearby was a waffle

I couldn’t leave the job site so I’d eat in the restaurant about 9 pm and then get two more meals to go for my lunch and dinner at 2am and 6 am

did this for 14 days straight , and I think I tried every meal the offered on the menu ,

and liked the steak and eggs the best , with a double order of hash browns scattered well done, and a half gallon of sweet tea .
