Trust me they do. They don't care how far away you are. Ray the owner or Dinah the manager will send a wrecker or a driver to pick your truck up. I was stuck on I65 N ext 37. There's a Love's 9 miles north. They had me waiting 9hrs to send Jacob their mechanic 172 miles to swap out an air valve by the catwalk. He was busy working on other trucks at the yard was his bs excuse. They do dumb #### like that. I had to come for medical reasons. Was here for 3 weeks, instead of someone calling and saying they're sending someone to pick the truck up because I was off too long and giving me at least 2 days notice, Jacob called me lieing saying he's coming to pick up the trailer. Then he said a driver was in the area to pick up the trailer. I asked, truck and trailer or just trailer. He said trailer as far as he knew. The other trailer is a shop it had a hole in the floor. I can pick it up whenever I'm ready. Then Dinah calls me up and says I have 35 to 45 minutes to clean the truck out because the other driver is there to retrieve the truck. The other driver was under the impression the truck was empty. They lied to him and told him Ray the owner said he spoke to me and I told him I'd be there in 45 minutes. Ray wouldn't answer my calls, texts or voicemail so I can find out why Noone gave me a couple days notice to clean it out. I told Dinah I understand why they're retrieving it but I don't get why Noone called at least 2 days before? 45 minutes and im still using a walker because of a cyst on l3 l4 and l5 S1 nerve pain and doctors in Ft.Worth take their time like Noone has better things to do. So yes, they spend thousands of unnecessary money doing stupid stuff and hold your last check to try to make you pay for what they did. They also don't tell you Kate, (the owners daughter) that they hold your last check until you turn in your rental car and finish orientation. Not on any contract, not before u spend money renting a car to drive 770 miles BC THEY DONT PAY FOR YOUR BUS OR PLANE to Bowling Green from whoever you are. The truck i was in 587 had to be fixed before I got in it. It was filthy inside and out, old mattress Jacob swore was new, with a stain in it and 3 days after I took off the trailer broke down. They said they fixed it. The truck broke down every week like clockwork on Friday or Saturday for 4 weeks in a row. So no, the other guy isn't lieing. You're more than welcome to try MR Trans if you want but don't say I didn't warn you. Oh, Dinah lied and said .54cpm when I got there it was .52cpm they pay by experience I have 25yrs so I didn't question the...54cpm. Then they said it's. 54 if it's over 2500 miles. Hard to get 2500 miles when every place they send you is a 5hr to 24hr layover. Brittany said when asked how far does detention go? Up to 24hrs. So I get $25 or 35 an hour up to 24hrs and layover is 24hrs or more but you only get $120 for layover? She said yes. Makes no sense but ok. When it happened and it did 3 or 4 times it was 120. They (Kate) told me I was lieing and Brittany and Dinah wouldn't say that. They office is small and I was standing between all 3 of them when I was told that. Do yourself a favor, stay away from MR Trans. Save yourself the headache.
