Like condo said I would just park in front with my flasher's on and hand cart in 30 cases of #### near anything. To hell with traffic they can go around especially at 8 pm.

Has it occurred to anyone that the guy feels unsafe and in sure and doesn't want to even attempt backing somewhere he feels "unsafe" I mean IMO I would at least attempt it and not just say nope not doing it. U guys could have both worked it out like a bad relationship but both parties had their heads I their butts seeing whose got a bigger dong

Mr. Miller
Terrific. So you have a system. If your system fails when we deliver to you, the most we can do is help you schlep boxes. No pallets, just boxes. No damage to our equipment and the pretty trees get to stay.
I'd recommend you have a plan B because I can't carry anything over 20 pounds.
And someone will have to pull the empty pallets off our trailer.
It's easier to not deliver. -
Nope, nope and triple NOPE. Ain't gonna happen his way. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice would make me a fool.
Buy what you need from Restaurant Depot. -
Plan B is unload in front of the door, personally I don't see why that would be a problem.
As far as only being able to lift 20#s, I think it would be a sorry company that hired someone like that to do these kinds of deliverys.Cetane+ Thanks this. -
I wouldn't try that either.
From CondoCruiser's aerial shot I do see room to turn around. The problem I see though is the entrances. -
Our company doesn't hire people to do these types of deliveries. No-touch freight only.

So why reply to this thread then? The OP is looking for advice, not comments from someone who doesn't even work in this field.Cetane+ and passingthru69 Thank this.

Isn't the driver the captain of the ship? I've been to plenty spots where they say trucks get here all the time. And there talking little trucks. Maybe he could have backed in.

Its actually much more complex than yall are making it out--way to many variables--I see both sides--As many of u know I've done LTL OTR for --- long time&face situations like this regularly--there is Always a solution---BUT--That solution ALWAYS requires compromise--Which typically takes 2level heads--which arguably we did not have here--I'm bettin the OP has been thru this before--&was already frustrated when a rookie driver who probably had an attitude as soon as he saw the place--&bang no solution....
And nothing accomplished--so what's the point---
To the OP---you are complaining gotta have product---so would have been a lot less trouble to work out a compromise--I can think of several.....
To other drivers---NEVER let someone else talk you into something you feel is Unsafe---But your job is to Service the customer--& get the freight delivered---
As mentioned easiest solution would be just pull up out front and wheel em in---Hell I've made deliveries to places where closest I could get was 2 blocks away;!
Won't be the first time I walked to little store--had a quiet professional talk--& then got in employees car and we drove down the street--&made 2 trips---Lol....but got it accomplished....
Just depends on your perspective.....
Just my $.02RedForeman and Cetane+ Thank this.
