I don’t know what exactly you’re referring to with “crankcase”?

Modern trucks have oil separators as part of their crankcase breather system. It should have oil in it.

Sorry just seen what I typed. Crankcase Filter. This truck the filter is non serviceable and suppose to be “lifetime”. The breather that comes off the back of the Crank Case filter is what had oil all over it and under it. I feel like the steam from the full tube is what should be coming from that breather. Not oil. Was looking truck over and found the valve cover is also leaking at the seal. I need to find out what’s causing all this pressure. Also when the truck was still on the compressor had a load knock even though it wasn’t running ?

Could be the oil separator has failed. I had one fail on my Volvo and oil was blowing everywhere.

    “Lifetime” only means non-serviceable.

    Brandon0928 Thanks this.
