Just put it down to inexperience if your used to driving cars in other words a shorter vehicle, you have to get used to looking at the back when turning due to the fact that your hauling a 48' - 53 ' trailer, and also keep in mind the height of the trailer which is usually around 4.1 - 4.2 metres (13.45' - 13.77') be mindful of low bridges, think most if not all of us has made a few mistakes in our driving careers the key is to learn from them and not repeat the same mistake again.

wrong attitude, you remind me of myself your overthinking things. I’ve seen guys blindside a long nose but couldn’t read a clock. You have to keep things simple with trucking. Find a mega keep your nose clean move on to a better job later. Best of luck!

First company I heard that does that, are you a lease op or they let company drivers get that much HT?

I've had a few pass me at that speed, going downhill. They were probably fired shortly after that for failing to control their speed.

I am a Company Driver. DHT credits drivers 1 1/2 days off for every 7 days out.
