Bad mouthing the industry to newbies

Perhaps because truckers do not want a ton of lazy idiots totally making all truckers seem like smelly idiots who trash everything who work for little pay thus making the good truckers look bad and have to work for less pay. The reason truckers are paid so much is because of the demand but if you have a million illegal immigrants wanting the job for $7 an hour then truck drives would probably make the same as warehouse workers now.

I remember 15 years ago when warehouse jobs were considered good paying jobs for eight hours per day and now illegal immigrants work for $7.25 an hour 10 hours per day for the same job and trucking may turn out the same way.
