That's how you know you've won. The other guy calls you a super trucker.

I'm really glad to have read this thread: Thanks to all, Most of you make some very valid points.

The wife and I plan on going to school and teaming together and I had planned on going with US Xpress ,But I want us to learn to be proficient with a stick before we drive an auto..
Never even gave that a thought till now about how that would leave us in a bad way on down the road if all they have is auto's .. Nothing against them YET:)
So hopefully we can work something out with them where we only have a manual transmission for the first yr or so ...

US Xpress has all the things as a team starting-out we are looking for ... We can bring our dog (7yr old Min Pin) ... after our training period.
We plan on staying out long periods on the truck so being able to have a large inverter for a fridge and microwave are important
I don't know of any other starter company that offers both .. if someone else does and they use manual transmissions please share thx..

    Truck on..

It's a great company actually. Small family oriented company. Only like 130 trucks right now but were probably 80% automatics. Columbias and the new cascadias. Got some older classics still too.

Can't be a good company, too many of dem dere non-real steering wheel holder types. Only manual transmission drivers have skill. A ton of spotless Lv1 inspections don't mean nothin', you need an artificial johnson to overcome your insecurity issues to be a real trucker!
