I see Wyldhorses is back with yet another thread extolling the virtues of autos. Mother must have turned the internet back on in the basement. Here's a tip for you (since you nothing about what you're talking about)....if shifting a manual feels like work you're doing it wrong. Now, just so everyone understands the depth of your knowledge on the subject please tell us:
Have you even driven a truck since you washed out of that mega's training program after two days...when was that 1993? How much trucking experience tdo you have and what makes you think you are qualified to have an opinion?Last edited: May 21, 2014

From what I'm hearing the latest auto's are smooth and reliable. I sense that many drivers feel that the manual separates the "real drivers" from the "steering wheel holders". If it makes the job easier then sign me up!
mje, wyldhorses and TruckDuo Thank this. -
APPARENTLY NO ONE has heard about the new Allison TC-10. The days of auto shift are over, hello fully automatic transmission with a torque converter!
TruckDuo, mje and wyldhorses Thank this. -
mje and OldHasBeen Thank this.
