Hey there everyone new to the trucking profession I graduated from a cdl school on June 26, I received 5 pre hires and signed up with H.O Wolding, I was set for training on the 28th of July. Last Friday I recieved a phone call saything that H.O is doing really bad and don't have enough trainers or loads to take me on. So they are taking back my hire date and prehire. Now i'm screwed!! So I called Roehl my 2cd choice Friday they said no problem I'll process everything and call back Monday so i called back today and now they say they are so far out with training that i wouldn't make the cutoff date so no prehire. Now the only 2 companies that I can go with are Werner and Swift now werner told me that i could get on the family dollar account and be home 1 out of 6. Swift told my friend that he would get regional right out of training and be home 2 out of 7 now i called swift and they said no thats not true. What do I do I really want the best home time but don't know which one to believe or go with any advice?

Do you want a job or hometime? You don't get both starting out. Make a choice!

Well I wouldn't be asking if I didn't want a job, my question still remains which company to go with swift or werner?
-
i started out 6 months ago I was looking for a company with hometime I would recommend any of the flatbed companies for the most hometime, I am home alot. you are home most weekends
