Worked for DHI load logistics. Was promised 1700.00 a week then told 1400.00 a week after I got on the truck. then told it dropped to .60 if it wasn't a completed week. They still owe me money. They only have 1 truck and they aren't making 500,000 like they are lieing about. If they did, they wouldn't lie about pay.

Wouldn't happen to be a 1099 job now, would it? Just curious.

Since I've been on TTR... seems many who post complaints are on their first post????
Or am I wrong? How do they find this forum after the fact?

My conspiracy theory believes a lot of these posts are from company employees that come here and pose as a disgruntled driver from company x to try and sway drivers from signing on with them.

We did promise $1700.00 per week and that is what was paid to Mark while running team. When the co-driver came in for home time Mark wanted to stay out which is fine, but that then made him solo for that week and it was explained to him up front that if he chose to stay out and run solo that the pay would be the $1400.00 while running solo. These pay scales where also based on a full 7 day week and if a cycle was broken that it then reverted to straight miles at .60 per mile. Mark agreed to all of these terms before he began his time in our truck and he was paid every dime he was owed dispite leaving the truck on the side of the road for weekends that he chose to go home when an approved parking facility was no more than 20 min. away. Mark also was very lazy not responding to loads as they were dispatched to the truck which is why he did not always run the miles that we stated as the weekly averages. We are an honest company that does exactly what we say. It's drivers like Mark that make it seem as if it is all on the company being dishonest, when In fact it was his actions that put him in the situation he claims we put him in and this post was also put up by him after being released from his position for failing to follow multiple company policies after being warned time and time again.

A ha, another side to the story!! Which reminds me of the phone call I received last week. Guy says;" I think one of your trucks has been abandoned" I said; " What makes you think that?" He replied; "I just saw three homeless looking guys hitchhiking along side the interstate."

Well it was a false alarm, all my TRI-FECTA leasees are doing just swell.

Lonesome and Wasted Thyme Thank this.
