Truck no longer compliant in California, planned on parking it out of state and accrue the additional cost. I was prepared and willing to do so, it's still a better option than bringing a truck in compliance.
On top of that now the company I was leased on to is going out of business, without any warning! Called the dispatch in the morning to send me the new ifta stickers and find me a load, he tells me they had a meeting with the boss today and the company is going out of business immediately.
    :biggrin_25521:

Now I'm left scrambling to either find another company to lease to or take the plunge and get my own authority. This will be an exciting year for me!

Mickey All trucks going into or in California must meet carb requirements. Does not matter what state you live in it must be up to their requirements.

That is an extremely easy work around. Most of us have family and or friends all over the nation. I'm betting one of them would be willing to say you lived with them. Normally I'd never advocate someone lying, but I make a special case for those on the left coast that ignore the constitution. They can go suck a big one.

I truck during the winter and drive Tour Bus during the summer and my KW is Carb Legal but the tour bus I drive is not. Have no idea how California is going to deal with this but CARB states the trucking industry has had 5 yrs to comply
