Q: Has anyone taken a hard look at their business model and see if Cal is even worth it? Do you really do so much business in the state that you can justify new power or 10k retro's?
Just asking......
We had some sort of agreement with a local to come to the border and pick up our trailer ( like Mexico ) , make the delivery and bring the trailer back. That did become too expensive eventually so my carrier dumped the business.......just saying......the way I hear most talk the state just isn't worth the hassle. ( from a business stand point ) -
The only problem with having a local grab your trailer, is if your load come into california at Reno, and your reload goes to the Northwest. Duh, Do you bobtail from Reno To Klamath Falls to get your trailer back?
