Bad yoke and slip joint after alignment?

    I don’t do welding, they need to be cut and weld. One drive shaft the front one that connect with transmission it needs both ends, and if they repair it it will become shorter, so they quote me on a new one that they’ll build there from scratch (new)

    Ok, you didn't mention they were repairing or rebuilding the driveshaft for you initially. Sounds like you're getting a good price considering all the extra work involved then.

    They didn’t give me one. They said in needs to come off, before they can give one.

    Parts markup is standard in any repair garage, dealership or otherwise. Those that don’t will drown. All part of running a successful business.
