What you and your mama know about me? I had no idea your mama made a psychiatrist out of you. We are talking 80/joint extra that’s 240 plus 80 for the small ones plus 120 extra for the yoke shaft… that’s $440 just for checking the prices ..,

Listen stupid I am a WOMAN who has been more miles backwards that you'll ever manage forward. You're too stupid to see that people who have been in this business are trying to HELP you see the BIG picture. Just carry on and DO what EVER makes you happy. No one here will fault you for that. BUT don't come here WHINING when your unit is destroyed because YOU were too cheap to do the repairs it needed. You just want some one to validate your thoughts but they are too assine to agree with. Happy New Year

Meanwhile it’s 4 days later and you’re still talking about it without mentioning what your solution is. You’re complaining about a few hundred dollars but really having someone do the labor of pulling everything out and then you trying to source your own parts and then try and get someone to do all the labor with u joints you sourced someplace else is just slowing the whole process down. Shops makes money on their labor and what they make over cost on the parts they sell. So what do you think they will do when you source parts elsewhere? Especially when your truck is in their shop taking up space while you’re parts shopping. You’re losing sleep over less than $500 and in the grand scheme of things that money really isn’t important.

This is exactly what happens when you use cheap parts and you think your saving money by not fixing it correctly all this carnage is the result of 1 U joint failure that should of been addressed when he 1st noticed a vibration

While you are doing all this messing around you might find your truck pushed outside. They are not going to let you tie up a bay for all that nonsense when they can get another truck in that bay and actually fix it and get paid. When you bring your driveshafts back that you had another shop work on to save a few bucks it might take a week to get you back inside.
