I drove there from 2001-2003. They had a funny way of paying which meant you never earned overtime. They'd pay hourly in state, but mileage if you went out of state. This was fine on runs to Iowa, but a day of Chicago work was very little pay. I loved the days when I just drove around beautiful Wisconsin or went to Eldridge, IA. But those tedious Chicago days really sucked. Plus you came in at 7am and had no idea when you'd get home. I usually got home between 5-9pm, but had days when I got done as early as 2pm and days when I got home as late as 12am. They also pressured drivers to log by a mileage/hour equation, and not really what they drove. "You can legally log 600 miles this way....." I was called into the safety office a few times to "correct" my logs. I would drive there again if they fixed the goofy pay and stopped with the pressured creative logging. I do miss some of the driving I did there. I made a documentary about it. It's on Youtube, if interested, it's called, "Badger Days 2003". I drove with some cool people Bob, and Carl. Miss those guys!

Are you driving there now? I'm curious to know what's different. I saw they have part time positions now, maybe even shifts?
