So Midwest along i65 would be Precision Strip for flatbed but they are owned by reliance steel company. Which owns like 16 other trucking companies all over America so check out reliance steels umbrella. @Chinatown may actually do some research on it and find something suitable for you. He seems to be pretty great at all that so two thumbs up to that homie overthere on the graveyard shift for we the people haha.

    Dry, Reefer, Flatbed perhaps.

Well the issue is I live in Southern Utah near the Nevada border so parking truck at home usually an issue for these carriers and maybe outside hiring zone?

yeah, you guys are probably gonna have to start out fresh even though you hold the CDL for like 5+ years. But then again, there’s always the USDOT or even electrical journeyman? Railroad? They all want CDL drivers just because of the license they hold.

    wonder @Chinatown thoughts of that

@bullhaulerswife hi, is it possible to create a forum where even though drivers have experience, they could discuss where they could use their CDL outside of say OTR driving or local driving. Even outside this forum, I always come across drivers looking to exit the industry, but utilize their CDL in other areas. Maybe we create a forum topic that either helps drivers exit the industry into a particular industries where their CDL could be utilized or if they’re getting back into the industry where do they go to quickly refresh their license so they could go anywhere after six months or a year of OTR training again

Right on the railroads. Railroads are hiring cdl drivers.
One driver on here that hadn't driven in years acquired a job with the railroad in California. Paid training.
