Which is the best way to avoid snow at this route? I’m in California and need to deliver to Wisconsin. Don’t want to use 70 or 80. Can I go through southern states? Trucker Pass shows only i80!

I can try through Oklahoma, through 40, is it a good idea?
-
Maybe ... but then there's always the chance of snow in Flagstaff, New Mexico and ice storms in Texas.Abraxas Thanks this.

Can't be a produce hauler if you have to avoid snow. Southern route (40-54-61-50-35-80-151)is about 200 miles longer.
Bean Jr., gentleroger, Capacity and 1 other person Thank this. -
Where are you expecting snow? It's Truckee, not Trucker for anyone not already sure of the spelling. A snowflake on the windshield is no reason to drive 200 miles further. Do you have truck GPS or are you betting your life on Google maps? Don't do that.
LtlAnonymous and gentleroger Thank this. -
That's a lot of extra miles.LtlAnonymous and rockeee Thank this.

Winter is a nationwide condition. Weather forecasts 3 days away are guesses, especially for snow.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
It’s a Trucker Pass app for the pro drivers

I’m in California, close to 40, it’s only 100 miles further.
