I finally finished, and upgraded!!!!! I actually came to a point where I just felt sorry for the trainer due to the fact he was very ill, but would not go to a clinic. Thanks to all for the great advice. The Truckers Report really helped me stay focused and finish. I was so naive, but helpful people on this site actually took the time to post helpful info. You all really do make a difference!

Lol, I did falter there for a while. I haven't had a challenge like that for years and years. I should thank the Creator that I still get them, lol. I still take every day as a new challenge. There is still sooo much to learn and do regarding trucking! I am humbled to know you all took the time to reply to my topic. I will now try to learn and pass on my experiences on thetruckersreport. That is, when I get some, lol!

I'm out with a finisher that is more of a babysitter. He's 22 with 1-1/2 years of experience. I've been out of the driving occupation for 12 years but I have 5 years, 500,000 miles driving in all types of areas and weather conditions and I have to go through this crap. All the trucks are automatics and drive like crap compared to a manual.

He starts out driving with no breakfast for several hours, no pee breaks and has music playing so loud it reads 91 decibels which is very loud. I'm 65 trying to get back into trucking... I'm too old for this crap. Just give me a #### truck and turn me loose already.
