Thank you for the advice. I asked the trainer if the company had any walk in clinics and he said no. I texted my student representative that I have had some kind of chest cold the last 3 days. She has not replied back yet. I am hoping I can get to a clinic and get something like a z pack. My mucous is now green and I am really having fun driving into the night and staying alert.

Thank you, this is what I am taking in terms of vitamins daily: D3,B12,Iodine(liquid drops), mulitivitamin, vitamin C 500mg, and zinc. I considered myself healthy, non drinker, non smoker, but this is getting me. Being 59 years old isn't helping, lol.

I am new to trucking. I drove a snow plow for the State before this. I am very humbled to have the replies you all have taken the time to give. Honestly, I just came back and was amazed you all cared enough to reply. THANK YOU ALL!

So, I can tell the trainer I want to go and get this looked at without him going ballistic and putting me and my things on the curb? This guy never stops except for food, fuel, and must need repairs. My student rep told me I could complete the on the road training at 240 Hrs of Driving time, but he said he wasn't going to go along with that. He said I needed to be out the full six weeks and that he didn't work for the student rep

Thank you for the reply, but don't want to get anyone in trouble. I am just starting and this trainer says he has been with the company for 15 years. I am now in debt to the company for the training; I guess I should have asked if this is how Solo over the road regional dedicated training is supposed to be? I'm really trying hard to learn the ropes and not be an issue.

Well, my thinking is...you have 4 weeks (I think) completed almost and no matter how bad you have it, you have stuck with it for that long. So would another two weeks be unbearable for you?

If you feel comfortable with your knowledge and skills, and you have met the minimum training criteria, force the issue. Get routed to a terminal for a skills check, or if needed another trainer. You're getting used as a second log book.

Next time the (naughty word) says he doesn't work for the student rep, tell him he does. He works for KLLM, he works for the student rep, and he works for YOU.

Thank you for the insight. I really don't know what the norm is and that is what is causing confusion. We rarely stop the truck and sleep. I can't seem to get any good sleep while the truck is rolling. Im thinking if I can adapt I can get my health back. I really appreciate your comments. Thank you for taking the time out of your life to post!
