Its not Eleets trying to collect; it's the bank trying to get some of their money back.

LOL. You're probably right. I had someone with that company trying to talk me into becoming an agent for them a while back so I did a little checking around and did not like the things I found out at all. In fact I would not haul a load for them nor any of the companys under that large umbrella. Talked to some agents with companys who didn't even know they were a part of it. Were actually surprised to find out. Can't help but wonder what they are thinking now.

We have been in business for 27 years, now we are also in the trucking buusiness. all of us are shocked @ how Eleets have done their people. They got us for over 1900.00. We know how hard it is for drivers too. We feel really bad for the drivers they had on payroll.

Pretty soon this new broker bond that is starting with a minimum of $75,000 will put all of these small mom and pop brokerage companies out of business. Honestly, its a good and bad thing. Most of these small operations will have to sign on under bigger companies. And in turn it will cause alot of the industry rates to change. Its unfortunate that companies can do this and just walk away. AMERICA!!! F YEA!!!

That little letter wouldnt stop me from chasing the customers and getting my money. The sad part is that Eleets has probably already recieved payment from the customers for the trucks services. Now they are just refusing to pay the trucking companies and are trying to threaten them for chasing their money. What a joke! AMERICA......F YEA!

Many of the people that ran Eleet have moved on. That letter is an attempt to keep us from informing customers they are trying to move to a new company that these are the companies truckers complain about. Personally writing letter to legal counsel tell them as a creditor I expect this to be stopped and that non-compete clauses enforced with a heavy hand. If not, it will just happen again.

When I find out what company they all went to I will post it so that we can black ball the new Eleets.

Eleets update - It was the bank that forced Eleets to shutdown. They had line of credit that required a certain weeks operating capital liquidated. It appears that Wells Fargo is the back as they are suing Eleets along with a couple others.

If you are like us and received a bad check from them I would contact the local district attorney let them go after them for the bad check. It is likely going to be the best chance of getting money because it can, not sure if it will, turn into a criminal charge if the the owner doesn't pay.

It also looks like his son or brother that worked for them is a VP of Sales at a major carrier now.

Owner is trying to paint a sob story of losing his million dollar home but other are reporting that the accounts have gone to other locations. As far as I am concerned those accounts are assets that can be sold to make us at least partially whole.

If they are trying to sell some of the accounts he will have to go after anyone that is contacting accounts. So just be careful.

Update - if you have a bad check contact you local DA. They can help you with the process of prosecuting the case. Some have a department that will go after them. Others will just send you to the DA in the FL County they are based in.
