I can understand your frustration, but you should never feel like you're in a position that you MUST take cheap freight. You can go broke busting your butt in the driver's seat for 70 hours every 8 days hauling cheap freight quicker than you can go broke at home on your couch. If I've gotten myself into a situation where I'm going to go broke either way, you can bet that it's going to happen at home on my couch.

You are right as it is very rare that I haul cheap freight and this was an exception .Hauling cheap freight hurts all of us,and these multiple were short loads that i was sitting right on top of and going right to where i needed to be. Good luck to you

Short loads should pay a premium. You're committing your truck for a day to run 100-200 miles and babysitting the freight in the process. If you needed to be there, why not just run empty? It costs you what, $60 in fuel per 100 miles of running empty? Just run the miles empty and get loaded there the same day. If it's a better freight area, you'll come out way ahead. The cheap broker won't get their freight moved, and you'll make up the difference on the next load.

Good luck to you as well! :)

Dont get me wrong ...I don't haul Super Cheap Freight... 100-200 miles is a no brainer to DH if Im not getting the correct rate... In this case It was about 350 miles for $650 per load... I'll post any updates about my sucess on my claims

This will be done eventually, just as soon as the bankruptcy court takes over all his finances. I blame this hood rat, but I also blame the Feds for allowing corporations to thrive up until the day they file bankruptcy, then walking away from their responsibilities under the veil of protection from the courts. Who really is to blame? Steele, for running up constant debt or the government for allowing to wipe away his financial responsibilities through the bankruptcy courts?

I believe that the only way this can be done is if fraud is alleged and proven. And it may not happen even then if he's set up his trust and offshore accounts correctly.

I do believe that there should be a 3 strikes rule on bankruptcies. After a third BK of a company where the individual had a controlling interest, that individual should be barred for life from becoming a sole proprietor or corporate officer with controlling interest.

I fully agree. But until the government starts looking out for the little man, (you and me), this crappola will continue forever at our expense. People that start up and bankrupt one company after another and steals money from the hard working people should be charged with and convicted of rape, then forced to live exactly like the people that have been f...'d over have to. Rant over. Thanks for listening.

Does anyone know how you can go about getting employment verification from them. DAC (Hirerite) does not have that information and I am having a hard time getting drivers hired for other jobs because I can't get verifications.
