The company that I work for has attempted to fire several drivers because they saw something through a reflection from a forward facing camera.
Where do you live?
Basically blacklisted I guess what can I do?

Go to a truck stop and get one of those books that is always advertising companies that hire. Now every single company in that book you don't even bother to put an app in, it's just a waste of your time.
Now that you know who not to put an app in for... While at the same truck stop start writing down names of the day cabs that roll in and start applying to those places.
Also, no matter how desperate you feel you are, never go with a company that pays on a 1099.
P.S. Don't call someone and ask them about your alleged safety violation, put in the app and follow up the next day or three.Last edited: Feb 21, 2020

Let this be a lesson to you from now on to stay away from the mega carriers at all costs. They'll sink your driving career with crapola like this. Get on Craigslist and find a smaller outfit in your area that doesn't use DAC or PSP and wont really care as long as you have a clean(ish) state MVR and can explain yourself to someone in charge.
This will be a little more difficult that getting on with USXpress or any other driver mill company that will whisk newbies off to orientation with an approved application as fast as possible, so you will have to sift through a lot of crap and not be afraid to go knock on doors even if they are not advertising for help right that minute. Stay away from any outfit trying to pay you on a 1099. That's a scam 99% of the time where they try to offer W-2 company driver wages and then stick you with 100% of the taxes at the end of the year. If you are driving their truck then that's illegal anyway and you are exposing yourself to added liability, so stay away from those guys if at all possible.tscottme Thanks this. -

Food service is always hiring because most truck drivers don't want to do any lifting of 50 lbs boxes.
CDL A Delivery Truck Driver | Jacksonville, Florida | Sysco
Another sector with lots of lifting would be the household movers such as Mayflower, United Van Lines. Lots of people moving to Florida so the moving companies need drivers. Not many people in their 50s do jobs with very much physical lifting work.Gearjammin' Penguin and Chinatown Thank this. -
